This microsite was designed and developed specifically for the Pittville Pump Room, Heritage Trail. We wanted to make the whole experience immersive and engaging for a specific audience. The idea being, visitors could access an audio guide to compliment the exhibition display, on location. This proved very effective and engaging.
In addition to the design and implementation, SpottedMedia continues to provide training and technical support.

Pittville Pump Room is a Grade I listed Regency gem overlooking the lawns and lake of Pittville Park. Built by Joseph Pitt, the pump room took five years to build, opening in 1830. It was the last, and largest, of Cheltenham’s spa buildings. Pittville was Pitt’s vision of a planned new town development of the 1820s with the pump room as its centrepiece.

Visitors to the Pittville Pump Room in Cheltenham, can tap into an immersive presentation via an App-like experience on their mobile or tablet at the same time as walking around the Pump Room exhibition. Using local dialect audio, characters take you through a history tour of this historic building. Fascinating and engaging, visitors can interact both with the microsite and onsite elements.

]]>Litter in Wiltshire has been a serious problem. Spotted Media, formally Robert Escott Design, was approached to come up with an idea to bring awareness through a campaign that highlights the issues with striking, clear and uncluttered messages. The campaign was focused around a logo – Clean-up Wilts and visual metaphors based on the council’s statistics.
The campaign roll out included: social media, website and landing pages, posters, billboards and leaflets.

]]>Working directly with Wiltshire Council communications, Spotted Media, formally Robert Escott Design, provided a range of creative services including: Billboard (Standard and digital), printed brochures, posters, leaflets, security and parking passes, newspaper and magazine advertising, social media assets and online advertising templates and event filming/photography.
This was a big challenge, involving all the creative services from Spotted Media. With the help of the Ministry of Defence we managed to navigate the strict guidelines laid down for such communications. Very proud to be a part of the team that made it all happen.

]]>Reaching out to children about mental health issues in today’s media rich environment is difficult. For young people today, it’s hard to know who to turn to. Spotted Media, formally Robert Escott Design, was tasked to create brand communications in the form of a website, printed leaflets, postcards and posters. Working closely with all stakeholders, the logo and website provided the biggest challenge but after several meetings with young people and the local health authority, all the elements came together.
The website uses WordPress which is regularly updated by council officers*. Discretion is a key element to the service so no personal data is captured on the website. Instead, visitors are encouraged to visit partner sites, as part of signposting objective.
* the website has since been redesigned by Supersonic Playground – great job guys.
